A young couple comes in intoxicated, he said I put 2 AA batterys in her ass and I can’t get them out. I do a rectal, thought I could feel something, so I did an x-Ray. The batteries were easily visible on the x-Ray. So I consulted surgery. All three residents see the patient. Then the attending comes in sets her up for a scope in the ER. They put her legs in the stirrups, and a battery comes out of her VAGINA! No there wasn’t a fistula. Moral of the story is always check both holes
