I took a Nurse call today in the ER. Went Something like this:
Caller: I had a complete hysterectomy a few years ago, but I want to know if I can still get pregnant in my tubes?
Me: Ok, did they take out your ovaries when they performed the hysterectomy?
Caller: Yes.
Me: Ok, then probably not. The Ovaries supply the eggs, and without them you can not get pregnant.
Caller: Oh, good. See i had been having lots of weird cravings and I was concerned I might be pregnant again.
